Fall 2013

The call for papers <pdf> for our 2014 meeting is now available.  The Circle will meet from June 5-8, 2014, at the University of Malmö in Malmö, Sweden.   Please send abstracts or panel submissions to program committee chair Edward McGushin (emcgushin@stonehill.edu) on or before January 2, 2014. Indicate “Foucault Circle submission” in the subject heading.  Program decisions will be announced by early February.

Summer 2012

The call for papers (pdf) for our 2013 meeting is now available.  The Circle will meet from April 18-20, 2013, at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.  Please send an ABSTRACT (as a “.doc” attachment) of no more than 750 words by e-mail to program committee chair Erinn Gilson (e.gilson@unf.edu) on or before Friday, November 16th, 2012.  Indicate “Foucault Circle submission” in the subject heading.  Program decisions will be announced in mid-December.

Summer 2011

The call for papers (pdf) for our 2012 meeting is now available.  The Circle will meet March 30-April 1, 2012, at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.  Please send a 1-2 page ABSTRACT of the paper, by e-mail. Abstracts should be submitted to the program committee chair: Dianna Taylor (dtaylor@jcu.edu) on or before Friday, November 19, 2011. Please indicate "Foucault Circle submission" in the subject heading, and include the abstract as a ".doc" attachment to your message. Program decisions will be announced in mid-December.

Fall 2010

The call for papers (pdf) for our 2011 meeting is now available.  The Circle will meet March 25-27, 2011 at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta, Canada, hosted by Chloë Taylor and Cressida Heyes at the University of Alberta at Edmonton.  To submit an abstract, please send a 1-2 page ABSTRACT of the paper, by e-mail to the program committee chair:  Corey McCall (cmccall@elmira.edu) on or before Friday, November 19, 2010.  Decisions will be made by mid-December.

 

Also, please consider attending our satellite session at the Eastern APA (December 27-30, 2010, Boston Marriott Copley Place and The Westin Copley Place, Boston, MA) on Tuesday, December 28th.
